The Conference in a few words:
Within the framework of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) in January 2024 in Berlin, 61 agriculture ministers from around the world agreed to continue the transition towards sustainable agricultural and food systems by adopting agroecological approaches. At the same time, the implementation agreement for the second phase of the DIAF project (Moroccan-German Agricultural and Forestry Technical Dialogue) was signed, and wherein the Component 1 (Promotion of Organic Agriculture) are organizing an international conference on organic agriculture and agroecology in Morocco. This conference will bring together international stakeholders to explore scientific advancements in agricultural and food sustainability. It will focus on integrating this knowledge into public policies and establishing an appropriate legal framework to transform food systems. The discussions will include scientists, government representatives, researchers, private sector actors, and civil society representatives.
